Here is the resolution: PEI stands for Prince Edwards Iceland. So the island is called here. Last weekend I was back there with the girls on the go. Here the highlights: ferry from the mainland to the island. One and a half hours on the water. I have been pushing for the first ferry, and yet we were only around noon on the island. Then we went to Charlottetown, a small town with beautiful old streets. In the Old City were in for the many tourist shops and colorful houses. Direct to Charlottetown, we have stopped: at the origin of the famous ice called Cow, at the ice factory. For a guide not enough time unfortunately. A sample site was in it. It was so warm, we went to the nearest beach. The special here is that the beaches are red. Reason, the loamy soil. And the water is very flat. We had to walk quite far to swim. But for the sea water was warm. While Aline and I have dry, threw Nastasja and Charlotte on the grill. Steaks on the beach - incredible!
We have spent much time on the beach, so we're not able to build the campers during the day. Instead, we went to West Point Lighthouse and have watched the sunset at the sea.
There was later a camp fire and we sat up in the night. The more astonished we were when we woke the next morning rain drops. The tents were quickly assembled. Unfortunately had to turn out for breakfast (pancakes), and we are in a zigzag on a rainy Sunday singing went home .....
